 | The Arklay Mansion was designed by George Trevor for Sir Ozwell E. Spencer. After finishing it's construction, George and his family were invited there. The mansion is actually The Arklay Research Facility, but disguised as a mansion.

 | The Arklay Mansion (also known as the Spencer Estate) had a large courtyard built around it. This area was at the centre of the land. This included the Cottage where Lisa Trevor hid. A graveyard infested with crows is also present.

 | Raccoon City was an industrialized mid-western American town. The economy of Raccoon City was largely dominated by the Umbrella Corporation, and has now been hit by the T-virus and its streets are roaming with flesh-eating zombies.

 | The Umbrella Corporation Management Training facility, as it's name suggests, was a facility designed to train Umbrella soldiers and scientists. Although it was closed in 1978, co-umbrella founder James Marcus continued to work there, designing the Tyrant Virus (T-virus) and shortly afterwards, the Gene Virus (G-virus).

 | Rockfort Island is an Umbrella owned and administered private island located somewhere south of the equator. Operating as both an illegal prison camp and para-military training facility by the corporation, Rockfort was administered at the time of its abandonement by Alfred Ashford, whose father was a researcher for, and whose grandfather a co-founder of Umbrella.

 | The Antarctic Transport Terminal was built by Alexander Ashford, son of Umbrella co-founder Edward, in the Transport Terminal that he administered, this having itself been converted from a previously established mining operation. As befitting the hostile nature of the Antarctic, the facility was built mostly underground.

 | A small farming community located in Spain near a small lake and a vast castle owned by Ramon Salazar, these villagers were employed by Ramon Salazar, Osmond Saddler and the Los Illuminados to extract the newly unsealed Las Plagas from the mines beneath the castle. After becoming infected by Las Plagas via spore inhalation, these villagers became the first of the Ganados.

 | The Salazar Castle is an enormous fortress and monastery complex, located just outside the gates to El Pueblo. Owned by eighth Castellan Ramon Salazar, the castle is the spiritual base of Los Illuminados. It is beneath its great foundation where the las plagas have remained in fossil form for centuries until they were recently mined and sent upon the innocent villagers of El Pueblo. Within its walls hides both an opulent palace and a horrid deathtrap. Many rooms within the castle house the most menacing of creatures and traps.

 | The island was what appeared to be a private military island off the coast of Spain. It featured several bases, including a top-secret research facility. It also had a hospital, a prison, a communications tower, and a ruins complex within its inner walls. The island is by far home to some of the most scary and disturbing rooms and enemies.

 | Kijuju seems to be a city located in West Africa, and is where the events of Resident Evil 5 take place. Madness seems to be spreading throughout Kijuju, and the B.S.A.A has been called to investigate reports of bioterrorism.

 | Kijuju's Shanty Towns have fallen into disrepair under the new government. The buildings and bazars are no longer flooded with citizens. Instead, the citizens of Kijuju have fallen prey to the Type 2 Plaga virus and turned into Majinis, malevolent beings that only wish to bring harm on any outsiders.

 | Kijuju's oil reserves once served as a valuable source of income from Tricell. It has now turned into Majinis' haven. It poses a threat to anyone who happens to be wandering nearby.

 | The Majinis of the marshlands use spears and blunt weapons to attack their enemies. Some Majinis grew to an enormous size after exposure to Las Plagas and have fitted themselves with large masks. These hostile beings are very durable, able to withstand a large amount of gunfire. They are also brutal, as they wield their weapons like a club.

 | Over the years, the mines have been excavated and explored in order to harvest precious minerals and jewels. Jobs created there brought abundant wealth to Kijuju in the past.
